How To Keep Your Base Secure On A Minecraft Factions Server

Nicky kattBy Nicky katt
Minecraft

Minecraft allows players to form factions and engage in warfare with other players. The best Minecraft faction servers will enable you to secure the loot necessary for progress. Another player may infiltrate your base, forcing you to start over. Mining away from your base and attracting minimal attention may help players enhance their faction’s security. Here are more tips you can use to secure your base:

Collect the Building Blocks

Start by clearing a flat section at approximately the 20Y coordinate for your faction’s base. Prioritize using common components like wood blocks and cobblestones that you may reinforce later. You will likely see the materials you choose and not all the available materials, so select suitable materials for the best Minecraft faction servers.

Establish Your Base in a Secure Area

Find a place away from landmarks that opponents may access easily. Avoid establishing your base close to warps or spawn areas. Consider building an underground base in areas that are difficult to reach, as this provides an additional security layer. You may choose distant coordinates of approximately X 5000 Z 2000 and 7 blocks to the bedrock level. A remote base helps you initially draw less attention from enemies as you gain power and supplies.

Apply Tall, Strong Walls

Use tall, strong walls when outlining your base and marking your boundary. This prevents enemies from trespassing and raiding your base. Using walls three blocks high with cobwebs or barbed wire will slow invaders down. You may also use materials such as bedrock and obsidian, which are immune to most damage. Constantly mine to access these materials and reinforce your base.

Mine Around Your Faction

Mining around the base creates an empty area one block thick to make the base more secure. Look for lava buckets and use them to fill the open space surrounding your base to prevent trinitrotoluene (TNT) attempts and intrusions. If your faction has many players you trust, claim the area around the base to have an additional layer of protection from intrusion.

Use Hidden Traps and Protections

You may set a trap wire activating TNT or put pressure plates close to walls to trigger unseen flamethrowers. Hide your traps in safe areas such as exit points and areas close to treasure rooms. Consider holes covered with trapdoors next to walls in your base, which is a major enemy target. Other players may fall in the holes when trying to infiltrate your base. Create minefields by putting stone pressure pads on stone blocks and placing TNT beneath them so they explode when stepped on by intruders. You can also opt for cacti organized in an “X” pattern to slow down enemies trying to reach you.

Apply Minecraft Plugins

The WorldGuard plugins can help you zone land belonging to your factions and restrict what happens inside. The factions UUID plugin allows the formation of factions and the protection of your land. Using the plugin, you can form allies with other bases. Another option is to go for the GriefPrevention plugin to protect the factions’ structures and chest for keeping valuable items in a commonplace. Consider applying the CoreProtect plugin to know if your chest has been raided. The plugin enables you to roll back areas on the map to their state before a raid.

Strengthen Your Faction’s Team

Members of your faction should include individuals who can create schedules and sustain base upkeep. Additional members such as backup builders, scouters, and raiders may be helpful if you have the appropriate server. You may use the /f perms command to build without interruptions from outsiders. Make sure you have several trusted players in your faction to improve the chances of a successful defense from attackers.

Rule the Battlefield Using the Best Minecraft Faction Servers

Keeping your faction’s base secure can help you progress in Minecraft. You may apply tricks like setting up the base away from landmarks and using tall, strong walls. Consider mining around your faction to form an empty area, making it difficult for intruders to pass. You can apply hidden traps like minefields as they offer additional protection. Strengthen your faction team by using players able to form schedules and maintain the base’s upkeep. You can follow a good plan, be vigilant, and be prepared so your faction experiences the pros of a secure base.
